I volunteered to work at Unity as a class assistant because I am a past pupil and loved my time here. I thought, as I love working with children, I could help out and give back to the school. Through Unity’s work experience programme, I have worked at a nursery school as a group assistant for 6 years but had to leave as it was too far once we moved to Lonehill.

I volunteered to work at Unity because I need to complete service learning hours as apart of the Post graduate certificate in education that I am busy completing at UJ. This is a stepping stone towards completing a Masters in Educational Psychology. I saw the school as an ideal learning environment, so far my experience has been very insightful.
